The government of Newfoundland and Labrador announced on April 19 that Gerry Byrne, Minister of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills, will launch Come Home 2022 on Wednesday, April 20, at 10:00 a.m.
The event will take place at the Rotary Arts Centre and feature musical performances by local and newcomer musicians and be live-streamed via Facebook. “Come home to Newfoundland and Labrador in 2022” is an official invitation to the reunion of citizens of the province living in Newfoundland and Labrador and abroad.
It will be mandatory for attendees to wear masks while maintaining physical distance.
