Candidates were invited under the targeted Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream by Ontario

A new draw was conducted by the government of Ontario on February 22, 2022, under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream (EJO FW) of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

A total of 8 targeted invitations to apply (ITAs) were issued by the province to candidates who may be eligible for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP). The minimum score for this draw has not been indicated. In total, OINP issued invitations to 4,976 candidates in 2022, including 914 EJO FW applicants.

The Ontario Immigration Nominee Program uses an expression of interest system to select individuals who may meet the criteria for one of the immigration streams listed below:

  • Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream

  • Employer Job Offer: International Student stream

  • Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills stream

Once you are being identified from the candidate pool, you will receive an invitation to apply in your OINP e‑Filing Portal account. However, receiving an invitation to apply does not guarantee that you will be accepted into one of the streams.

Also, if you qualify under the stream identified in your invitation to apply, you may apply online. Therefore, your application must be submitted within 14 calendar days of receiving the invitation to apply.
