Application Processing Times for SINP for the fourth quarter of 2021 published by Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan updated the processing time of various streams of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) on January 5, 2022.


Based on the new data, in the fourth quarter of 2021, the processing time in the Employment Offer stream was 2 weeks. In the Occupation In-Demand stream, the processing time was 37 weeks and in the Express Entry stream, it was 38 weeks for the International Skilled Worker category.


Under the Saskatchewan Experience category, the processing time for the Existing Work Permit stream, the International Students stream, the Truck Drivers stream, and the Hospitality Workers stream was 1 week. For the Health Professionals stream, processing time wasn't provided.


Processing time for the Entrepreneur Nominations and Farmers streams for the Entrepreneur and Farm category was 8 weeks. The province has not provided any information about the processing times for the Entrepreneurs Applications. The Job Approval Process, which allows employers to hire foreign workers through SINP also took 8 weeks.


The processing times represent the average time it takes for 80% of applications to be processed. These processing times are averages based on the past quarter. However, it may not reflect the exact processing times for upcoming applications.
