The government of Ontario announced on January 19, 2022 that the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has reached its 2021 nomination allocation. This was a total of 9,000 nominations for successful applicants from all streams, including 250 nominations for NOC skill level C and 400 further nominations for a reallocation in-year.
New applications and applications which have already been submitted to the OINP will continue to be accepted and processed under the OINP’s 2022 nomination allocation. However, applicants can check the status of their applications through the OINP e-Filing portal.
The OINP has nominated 779 foreigners so far in 2022. The OINP also sent out notices of interest to potential candidates for its Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream on January 12, 2022.
The OINP targeted candidates with a comprehensive ranking system score between 464-467 and work experience in the following NOC codes:
